One Idea for a Global Campaign

Is there AN idea that can bring together people together. together for a social cause like eradicating poverty? Is there a way in which the message of the campaign reaches every nook and corner of the world?

The Art of Living has taken up the Global campaign against corruption and Poverty and for this we have to activate our existing volunteer base present in over 150 countries to take action in support of the Millennium development goals.

Website needs to cater to a global audience. We require campaign materials, ready for print in over 25 languages.

We have to get people across the world to Take up a single Action like Standing Up between the 16-18th of October 2009.

And Art of Living has Decided to take up Light a Lamp Against poverty campaign where all over the world at the same time people will light a lamp on the 17th of October between 8.00 - 9.00 pm Local time.

We also need to get people involved in filing Freedom of information act ( Right to information in some countries, access to info in others) and get government answer to questions related to the Millennium development Goals.

The Work has Started. In a months Time, we will have the campaign materials ready.

Here we are still thinking of an innovative strategy that will make this World Stand Together as voice to strive against Poverty.

There are some Great Ideas and we are confident to see it work.
